Pork
Chops Braised in White Wine
Ingredients:
4 pork chops about 1/2 inch
to 3/4 inch thick
1 clove of garlic
1 Tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon rosemary
1/2 cup dry white wine
Directions:
Season the pork chops with
a little salt and pepper.
Heat the oil on medium high heat in a medium frying pan.
Smash the garlic clove, and add it to the pan.
Add the pork chops, and cook for 3-4 minutes per side.
Add the wine, and sprinkle the sage and rosemary over the pork chops.
Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for 40-50
minutes, until done.
